Installation process
4 easy steps:
We will then arrange a free site survey and discuss your expectations and needs.
This will include different tailor made options for you to choose from.
We will set a date for your install by our highly trained team of experts.
We will test and commission your system in line with MCS installation standards.
Our quotes include the installation of your solar PV mounting system, all electrical, cabling connections and components to complete your install to the manufacturer’s specifications as well as all required scaffolding and/or access equipment.
We will test and commission your system in line with MCS installation standards to ensure that the system is safe, has been installed in accordance with documented procedures and manufacturer’s requirements and is operating correctly in accordance with the system design. We will register your system with the MCS and certification will be generated. KR Electrics & Renewable Solutions Ltd will collate and provide to you a comprehensive handover document pack at the point at which the Solar PV system is handed over to you. Also teaching you how to navigate your smart app to enable you to monitor and control your system.
Any issues with your system?
KR Electrics & Renewable Solutions provide a 2 year workmanship guarantee from the date of install and equipment guarantees by the manufacturer.
Although Solar PV is reasonably ‘fit and forget’ technology, certain parts such as the inverter may need servicing or have to be replaced in the lifetime of the panels. A yearly check of the system is recommended.

In addition to the Government’s 0% incentive on renewable energy technologies until March 2027, there are some Government grants and schemes such as Warm Homes:Local Grant if you have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rated D or less, are on a low income, receiving certain benefits or living in a certain postcode area. Usually you do not need planning permission when installing solar panels and batteries as they are normally classed as ‘Permitted Development’, however if the property is a listed building or located within a conservation area it is likely that you may need planning
permission.
